About BRC-20
BRC-20 is a token standard based on blockchain technology, similar to Ether's ERC-20 standard. BRC-20 tokens are issued and managed on the blockchain using smart contracts and can be traded and transferred on the blockchain.
The BRC-20 standard was introduced by BitRent (BitRent) and its main purpose is to enable different tokens to be traded and interoperable on the same platform. the BRC-20 standard defines the basic properties and functions of tokens, including token name, total supply, symbol, number of decimal places, token transfer, balance inquiry, etc.
Similar to the ERC-20 standard, the BRC-20 standard provides a convenient way for token issuers to issue tokens and easily add tokens to exchanges and wallets that support the BRC-20 standard. In addition, the BRC-20 standard can also be used for token crowdfunding, charitable fundraising, rewards and other similar purposes.
In summary, the BRC-20 standard is an open, interoperable token standard that facilitates the development of the blockchain ecosystem by helping different tokens to trade and interoperate on the same platform.
